Amit More is the Managing Director of Lucky Group, one of Nepal’s most diversified business conglomerates with interests spanning manufacturing, FMCG, financial services, logistics, real estate, infrastructure, and philanthropic activities. A third-generation entrepreneur, Mr. More has led the Group’s transformation into a forward-thinking enterprise with international partnerships in multiple countries.
He holds an MBA from the United States, graduating with distinction in 2006 with majors in 5 different fields of Marketing, International Finance, Business Strategy, Leadership, and Organizational Behavior. His global education, combined with deep-rooted industry knowledge, has driven Lucky Group’s expansion across sectors and regions. Under his leadership, flagship companies such as Ganpati Vanaspati Ltd.—Nepal’s largest integrated edible oil refinery—and Shivam Cement have set new benchmarks in their respective fields.
Mr. More currently serves as a founding Director of Himalayan Reinsurance Limited, reflecting his increasing role in Nepal’s financial and insurance sectors. He is actively involved in key national institutions as the Vice President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), Vice President of NVGOMA, and Executive Member of the Nepal Foreign Trade Association (NFTA).
His contributions have been widely recognized: he received the Business Excellence Award (2019), was named one of the Top 10 Young Entrepreneurs in Nepal (2020), and was awarded for Outstanding Contribution to Industry by CNI in 2022.
